Soundless screams being shoved down your throat,
Hands gripping out for any sort of savior.

A much smaller pair reaching back in anticipation.

Stomach's turned yellow by dastardly deals,
Opening wounds forgotten by time.

Warming the living with borrowed strength,
Deceiving the brainless with false silence.

Swear you didn't mean what was said,
Swear it was all a mistake.
Plead you would never leave,
Plead when I start to walk.
Cry when the room is empty,
Scream to specters of the past.

Collect your broken mind,
Sweep old memories under the rug.
Move on from your life,
Start anew from the ashes.
Forget your death with time,
As you become one of the Lost.

Step inside her bloody shop of health,
Trust the faceless cloaked in black.

Peer into those hollow pits,
Wonder if she's even looking.
Coat your clothes in life's ink,
Struggle against her knife.

The Plague is in she will see you now,
Observe the black coat stained red,
Hear the screams of thousands.

Seal eyes coated in disease,

Little Brown BagThis little brown bag was made just for you,
A little brown bow spun atop its thin paper covering,
Decorating something soon to be torn to shreds.
Painstaking hours spent crafting each fiber,
Weaving each thread into a microscopic work of art,
Respected by the artisans of nature.
Children screaming in joy at the sight of the bag,
Ripping open the organized chaos in a fit of their own,
Hands flocking to the remains of the fine-crafted bag.
The brown bow being tossed aside and trampled,
The bag ripped into smaller and smaller pieces by the second,
To reveal a scorching white box of a practically glowing disposition.

On the line of desperation,
On the edge of insanity.
Held together by stitches of false truth,
Strung up like a marionette,
A mere toy for the puppeteer.

Here lies my heart,
Begging you to stay,
Bound in fabric chains.
Split apart by the truth,
Held up by wounds of the past,
Used for the amusement,
Of a puppeteer.
